AJ Swanson

Lead Pastor
AJ is from Sarasota, FL and also spent part of his childhood in Charlotte, NC. He refers to himself as a beach bum with the occassional southern accent. AJ has a Masters of Religion from Southern Evangelical Seminary and spent 18 years in youth and children’s ministry, both as a volunteer and then as the Director of Youth and Children at Christ Community Church in Frisco, TX. AJ is married to Corrie and together they have 4 Children. He plays guitar and sings, has a background in theatre, coaches soccer, loves sport and enjoys playing games with his kids.
AJ joined Cornerstone Church in January of 2021. He is also the author of Vacation Bible Camp, which is used all over the country and with missions groups overseas.
Jack Teeple

Pastor Emeritus
Jack Teeple has been a staple of the Hicksville Community for over 30 years.
Raising his three sons along with his wife Pati. He planted Gateway Chapel 15 years ago which met at the Huber Theatre and oversaw the growth of that church. Upon closing Gateway and moving his congregation to Hicksville Cornerstone Church, he became Associate Pastor and later Lead Pastor. Having been a Lead Pastor the majority of his life, Jack encouraged the elders to begin the search for a Pastor to take the church into the future. He now serves as a Pastor Emeritus, as well as continuing discipleship and mentoring in the community and church. Jack is and forever will be a valuable part of the Cornerstone Team.
Jamie and Stephanie Henderson

Worship Directors
Jamie and Stephanie Henderson have a heart to serve God and His people. The Hendersons served as missionaries in Thailand for 8 years and have recently relocated back to the US while still being involved with their non-profit organization, Free Rain International. Together the Henderson have been leading worship in churches around the world for the last 12 years and are thrilled to be leading here in Hicksville.
